Art That Doesn’t Suck - June 15, 2007
This week’s featured art is Dark Shell by Kate Childers
I’ve always enjoyed art like this. Bold lines, excellent color, and almost mathematical in its precision. I really like the use of shading and glow - many pieces like this stick to flat colors, but the use of gradients really makes it special and gives it a lot of depth. The choice of framing and matting matches really well, though like any art at ImageKind, they can be customized by the buyer. Click the image to learn more about it or to perhaps purchase a print for yourself.
Prices for Dark Shell begin at $20.38, subject to change.

Couldn’t find a “contact” or email… so I’ll use this for now…
Regarding your comment on Brian G’s site re Cutline and 3 column coding…
where you mentioned…
Oops, I see code is parsed here… the lines in sidebar.php are these:
and
Where exactly should thes go? I seem to have not got it right… also perhaps just clarify, the css bit you post, as well… as in where to insert
/*— For double sidebar goodness — */
#sidebar .sideleft { float: left; padding-right: 5px; width: 200px; }
#sidebar .sideright { float: right; padding-left: 5px; width: 200px;}
Excuse my ignorance, I have no code experience. Just like Wp, and Cutline.
Hope posting this here is OK with you, and good luck with your game-play.
Davo, if you’ll click the Contact link at the bottom of the gray column, that will shoot me an email - if you don’t mind, I’d like to discuss it with you via email rather than through the comments here.
Thanks!
