Art That Doesn’t Suck - September 21, 2007

This week’s featured art is Pinku Kitty by ali sabet

Like all two-year-olds, my daughter is very curious and occasionally wants to know what Daddy is doing. She wandered over as I was looking for some art to review for this week, and she yelled “kitty!” when she saw this cute little cat. I asked if she liked the kitty and she said “yesssssss”. Sounds like a ringing endorsement to me.

Ms. Sabet has an entire line of cute cartoon animals available at Imagekind, so be sure to explore her galleries! Pinku Kitty and her cohorts make great additions to a child’s bedroom or play room.

Like all art at Imagekind, the mat and frame can be customized by the buyer.

Prices for Pinku Kitty begin at $16.98, subject to change.

I think Ali is incredibly ambitious - and I love the varied character work. Also, Ali is a he, I believe.

thank you for the post and kind words. The kitty was actually drawn by erik goldsby of duztygraphics.com for pixopop/sabet brands. I draw tons of characters too, but Id like to give credit to my friend duzty for his hard work and talent.
I would love for u to visit my new artist community : http://www.sabet.tv
