This week’s featured art is Photosynthesis - Green Tryptych by Eileen D
This time of year, here in the southwest, there’s not a lot of green to be found, so when I came across this piece, I figured I’d green the place up a bit!
A gifted photographer, Eileen has many fantastic pieces available at Imagekind, and this would look wonderful as a green accent to any room. I’m looking forward to featuring more of Eileen’s work!
I have customized the display of this piece with the following options:
Paper: Photo Glossy
Mat: none
Frame: Contemporary Black (under Black in the frame choices dropdown)
Glazing: Acrylic
Sized at Large, the cost for Photosynthesis - Green Tryptych as I’ve presented it is $124.71.
Customers may select a new display combination or leave them off altogether and purchase an unframed print, starting at $17.98.

This week’s featured art is Autumn Afternoon in Athens, Georgia by Tim Beasley
In the spirit of the current promotion at Imagekind, Art from Autumn’s Palette, I’ve chosen a fantastic autumn landscape scene. Artist Tim Beasley has really captured the wonderful array of colors and texture of a southern autumn day.
While most of the art at Imagekind seems to be based in photographs or pure digital creation, Mr. Beasley shows how wonderfully paint can stand alongside the more modern techniques. The choice of mat and frame are perfect. There isn’t a thing about this piece that I feel could be improved upon.
Art from Autumn’s Palette is a promotion running through September 19, 2007 at 10pm PST. Shoppers at Imagekind can enjoy a $3 flat shipping rate on any orders shipped within the USA when using the promo code FALLCOLORS during check out.
Prices for Autumn Afternoon in Athens, Georgia begin at $14.43, subject to change.

This week’s featured art is Eye of the Rainbow by Alex Oleynikov
This is a truly interesting piece. It has a great otherworldly feel to it that I just love. I don’t know if it’s Photoshopped completely or just touched-up, but the tone and atmosphere are awesome.
And it’s a giant eyeball. How cool is that?
Prices for Eye of the Rainbow begin at $25.47, subject to change.

This week’s featured art is Cat Tails At Sunset by J Richards
Very, very dramatic. I love the way the light filters though the fuzzies on the cat tails, almost making them glow. I don’t think the shot could have worked out any better short of arranging the cat tails manually. I especially like the color tone of the image. The framing and matting are pretty much stock, but they work well. Like any art at ImageKind, they can be customized by the buyer. Click the image to learn more about it or to maybe purchase a print for yourself.
Prices for Cat Tails At Sunset begin at $15.28, subject to change.
